We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping under privileged communities and creating a positive impact in the world. Our mission is to provide education, food, shelter and healthcare to those in need with emphases on orphans, widows and single parented children.
Cewa extends a lifeline to vulnerable children, including orphans, those from single-parent households led by brave mothers and widows, and those residing in marginalized rural communities. We believe in the transformative power of education and comprehensive care, empowering these children to not only survive but thrive, shaping a brighter future for themselves, their families, and our world.
Cewa is open to partnership with the government and other civil society / social workers.
In order to be effective, responsibility for development strategies must be given to the target population, and their participation must be an essential component of all initiatives. CEWA values partnerships with local communities and schools, which precipitates the exchange of information and ideas, and leads to empowered, self sufficient communities.
CEWA believes in the equal opportunity and rights of every individual, irrespective of race, religion, gender or status, and believes that there is an obligation to ensure that areas of injustice are addressed and rectified. CEWA is committed to being a voice of justice to the voiceless underprivileged population of the both the rural and urban countryside.
By increasing the skills and knowledge of the target population, CEWA aims to increase their ability to overcome poverty through their own means, and gradually decrease dependence on the expertise of CEWA and other organizations.
CEWA believes that its work should be long lasting in effect, and be continuous and replicable in the long-term with or without external supports or implements.
CEWA values training, information dissemination, and skill development as a means of inspiring development. Educational tools both build capacity and can be passed on to other generations
